Korniche Roof Lanterns

Flood Your Home With Natural Light

A Korniche roof lantern is designed to transform flat roof extensions by maximising daylight, improving thermal performance, and adding a clean, architectural finish to your space.

Unlike traditional lanterns adapted from conservatory systems, Korniche roof lanterns are engineered from scratch specifically for modern homes — delivering slimmer sightlines, stronger structure, and faster installation.

Whether you’re extending a kitchen, renovating a living space, or upgrading an existing flat roof, a Korniche lantern brings light, height, and a real sense of openness.

Why Choose a Korniche Roof Lantern?

Korniche has become one of the most respected names in roof lantern design by doing things differently — starting with a clean sheet of paper, not a compromise.

Designed from the ground up
Korniche roof lanterns are not modified conservatory roofs. Every component is purpose-designed to work together, resulting in a stronger, slimmer and more refined system.

Ultra-slim ridge and rafters
Narrow aluminium sections mean more glass and less frame, allowing natural light to flood your room without bulky sightlines or visual clutter.

Thermally broken aluminium construction
All frames are fully thermally broken to reduce heat loss, minimise cold bridging, and improve year-round comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions – Korniche Roof Lanterns

Are Korniche roof lanterns made to measure?

Yes. All Korniche roof lanterns are supplied on a bespoke basis to suit your roof opening. Even where dimensions fall within common size ranges, final sizing and specification are confirmed before manufacture.

Can I request a quote using approximate measurements?

Yes. Approximate measurements are fine for the purpose of providing a quote.
However, final dimensions must be confirmed before manufacture. Our surveying guide explains how to measure correctly.

What measurements do you need for a roof lantern?

We require the external dimensions of the upstand, including the waterproof membrane.
Minimum and recommended upstand widths, tolerances, and positioning are detailed in the Korniche surveying guide.

Do you supply the upstand?

Upstands are not included as standard. However, thermally certified SIP upstands can be supplied to perfectly suit your lantern and simplify installation. These can be specified at the quoting stage.

What colours are available?

Korniche roof lanterns are available in a range of stock colours, with bespoke RAL and dual-colour options also available. Frame finishes can be specified during the quote process.

Is the glass self-cleaning?

Yes. Korniche roof lanterns are supplied with self-cleaning glass as standard, helping reduce maintenance and keep the glass clearer for longer.

What thermal performance can I expect?

Korniche roof lanterns use thermally broken aluminium frames and high-performance glazing. Overall U-values can be as low as 1.2 W/m²K, depending on glass specification.

How long is the warranty?

All Korniche roof lanterns are supplied with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, covering materials and manufacturing quality.

Do you install roof lanterns?

No. We supply roof lanterns only. Installation should be carried out by a competent installer in line with Korniche guidelines.

How long does manufacture take?

Lead times can vary depending on size, colour, and specification. We’ll confirm current lead times as part of your quote.
