The double tile is two standard Envirotiles moulded as one, 365mm by 630mm. Same profile, same colours, same fixings – it just halves the number of pieces you handle on a long run, which matters on a big garden room or a full house re-roof. Most installers mix doubles along the field of the roof with singles at the edges, verges and around penetrations where a smaller piece is easier to cut.
 
Coverage works out the same as two singles: at 280mm gauge you need about 5.9 doubles per square metre.
 
Ordering and delivery. Envirotile comes out of your nearest Eurocell branch. Orders over £150 are delivered free to site; under £150 delivery is £10. Order the whole roof in one go and add 5–10% for cuts and wastage – it is the top-up order for a dozen tiles that costs you time.
