What are Mermaid tile wall panels?

Mermaid tile wall panels are 1220×2440 mm PVC sheets moulded with a 100×100 tile-effect and defined grout line, giving a classic tiled look without grout.

Can I fit them over existing tiles?

Yes—if tiles are flat, sound, clean and degreased. The large sheet format gives fewer joins and a faster install.

Are they suitable for showers and wet areas?

Yes. They are waterproof and easy to seal. Use MS polymer adhesive, back joins with Reco Seal Tape, and silicone all wet-area perimeters.

How many adhesive tubes per panel?

Allow roughly two 290 ml tubes of MS polymer adhesive per 1220×2440 mm panel, depending on bead size and substrate flatness.

What trims do I need for the edges?

Use aluminium edging strips on exposed perimeters for a neat, sealed finish.

Panels can be fitted over most sound, flat substrates (including existing tiles): bond with MS polymer panel adhesive (around two 290 ml tubes per panel), back the joins with Reco Seal Tape, and finish edges with our aluminium edging strip for a neat, durable result.
