225mm uPVC Capping Board x 5m
A 225mm capping board is a 9mm uPVC cover board that fits straight over your existing timber fascia, so you don't have to strip the old boards off. It comes in 5m lengths, needs no painting, and wipes clean. These are Eurocell boards, and every colour on this page is the same 225mm width, so pick your finish and add it to your basket.
What a 225mm capping board is used for
A 225mm capping board covers a face up to 216mm, so it suits 8-inch (203mm) timber fascia on deeper house fronts and extensions. It also makes a neat square-edge window board for wider cills.
How to measure for 225mm capping
Measure the face of your timber fascia from top to bottom. A 225mm capping board covers a face up to 216mm, with the 35mm return tucking under the bottom edge of the timber. If you're between sizes, take the wider one.

225mm capping board questions
Do I need to take my old fascia off?
No. A 225mm capping board fits straight over existing timber fascia, as long as the timber is sound. If it's soft or rotten, you need full replacement fascia instead, because a cover board won't fix a failing board underneath.
Can I use 225mm capping as a window board?
Yes. It makes a neat square-edge window board for wider cills, and it's a lot cheaper than a laminated board.
How quickly can I get it?
White is usually with you in a few working days. Woodgrain and grey foils can take longer, because some are made to order by the branch. Delivery is £9.99, or free on orders over £150, and you can collect from a local depot instead.
