300mm uPVC Capping Board x 5m
A 300mm capping board is a 9mm uPVC cover board that fits over deep timber fascias without stripping them off. It comes in 5m lengths, needs no painting, and wipes clean. At this width it's also a popular square-edge window board.
What a 300mm capping board is used for
A 300mm capping board covers a face up to 291mm, for deep 10 to 11-inch timber boards, box ends and wide window boards. At 300mm it's only made in White and Black Ash.
How to measure for 300mm capping
Measure the face of your timber fascia from top to bottom. A 300mm capping board covers a face up to 291mm, with the 35mm return tucking under the bottom edge of the timber. If you're between sizes, take the wider one.

300mm capping board questions
Do I need to take my old fascia off?
No. A 300mm capping board fits straight over existing timber fascia, as long as the timber is sound. If it's soft or rotten, you need full replacement fascia instead, because a cover board won't fix a failing board underneath.
I need 300mm in Anthracite. What can I do?
300mm is only made in White and Black Ash. For other colours, the 350mm double capping board covers a face up to 332mm and comes in every colour.
How quickly can I get it?
White is usually with you in a few working days. Woodgrain and grey foils can take longer, because some are made to order by the branch. Delivery is £9.99, or free on orders over £150, and you can collect from a local depot instead.
