250mm uPVC Capping Board x 5m
A 250mm capping board is a 9mm uPVC cover board that fits straight over your existing timber fascia, so you don't have to strip the old boards off. It comes in 5m lengths, needs no painting, and wipes clean. These are Eurocell boards, and every colour on this page is the same 250mm width, so pick your finish and add it to your basket.
What a 250mm capping board is used for
A 250mm capping board covers a face up to 241mm, so it suits 9-inch (229mm) timber fascia, often found on older houses with tall boards. It also works for wider window boards and cill covers.
How to measure for 250mm capping
Measure the face of your timber fascia from top to bottom. A 250mm capping board covers a face up to 241mm, with the 35mm return tucking under the bottom edge of the timber. If you're between sizes, take the wider one.

250mm capping board questions
Do I need to take my old fascia off?
No. A 250mm capping board fits straight over existing timber fascia, as long as the timber is sound. If it's soft or rotten, you need full replacement fascia instead, because a cover board won't fix a failing board underneath.
How do I join two lengths?
Use a joint trim where one 5m length meets the next. It covers the join and lets the boards move with the weather.
How quickly can I get it?
White is usually with you in a few working days. Woodgrain and grey foils can take longer, because some are made to order by the branch. Delivery is £9.99, or free on orders over £150, and you can collect from a local depot instead.
