A 300mm fascia board covers deep eaves and wide bargeboards in one piece, so you avoid joining two narrower boards. You can use the same board as a bargeboard on the gable end.

How to measure for 300mm fascia

Measure the face of your old fascia from top to bottom. The new board needs to cover the rafter ends fully, with the soffit tucked up behind the bottom edge. If you're between sizes, take the wider one.
