Euroverge is Eurocell's dry verge system, and it does away with mortar at the gable end for good. Bedded verges crack, weeds get in, and sooner or later a lump of it lands in the garden. A dry verge clips over the tile, mechanically fixes to the batten and stays put — no repointing, no maintenance, and a straight, tidy line along the roof edge.
The units are universal, so the same one fits the left-hand and right-hand verge. No sorting through boxes on the scaffold, no ordering handed pairs, and no leftovers you can't use on the next job.
Where Euroverge earns its keep over older dry verge systems is the range it covers. It fits batten gauges from 255mm to 345mm, so it suits a far wider spread of roofs, and it'll go down to a 12.5° pitch. Water channelling has been improved as well, which matters on a shallow roof where the verge is doing more work than people think. It conforms to BS 8612 and BS 5534.
Fitting is straightforward. Set the starter cap over the first eaves tile, slide each verge unit up towards the ridge until it engages with the one below, then fix through the verge fixing area into the middle of the batten with a screw or nail. Work up to the apex, fit a blanking cap on the last unit for a clean finish, then cap the ridge. On a new roof the tile battens need to project at least 40mm from the fascia bargeboard or masonry; on a refurbishment, check the existing battens are sound and protrude 40mm from the tile bedding mortar — if they don't, run a 40mm counter batten from eaves to ridge and fix it to the wall or bargeboard.
